London Eye and Afternoon Tea

After our double decker bus tour, we took a spin on the iconic London Eye!

After our time on the London Eye, a small group of us chose to have afternoon tea in the library at our hotel as our dinner before heading to the theater. It was so lovely! We had an amazing view, wonderful food, and delicious tea. It was perfection

We got to choose our own loose leaf tea

Vienne loved smelling all the teas

After tea, all of us that didn't go to the theater last night, went tonight, to see Aladdin the Musical at the stunning Prince Edward Theater! I had seen this show in New York on Broadway and could not wait to see it again! It is beyond magical. One of the most memorable part about this production are the costumes, each one has hundreds of Swarovski crystals sewn on to it so they are beyond sparkly!

Catching a cab after a show can be nearly impossible, so dad surprised me and mom and hailed one of the bicycle taxis to take us back to our hotel. It was a pretty fun ride! Our "driver" blasted the same Matilda song for the entire drive. We sped passed all the traffic and many London icons.

It was the perfect, unexpected, ending to a very full and fun day!
